Advice
The Familia Club helps immigrants with problems to find the right place for help. The office also has a useful information point with a wide range of leaflets and other information.
Computer and newspapers
Members can use a computer with an internet connection for free to search for information, email, or filling applications, etc. It is possible to print and photocopy pages for a small payment. You can also read the daily newspaper at the Familia Club.
Room hire
Do you need a meeting place in the city centre? Members and associations can rent rooms at the Familia Club for a small fee. A well-equipped kitchen is also available.
Exhibit your art at Familia Club
Familia Club offers hang up possibility for small scale art exhibitions especially for artists with immigrant back ground.
Projects
Duo Project
Duo Project (2008-2012) forms part of the activities of the Multicultural Association Familia Club ry. The project is financed by Finland's Slot Machine Association (RAY). Duo Project aims to support intercultural couples and families by creating early support and counselling services such as:
- Family training
- Discussion groups
- Mother & Baby discussion groups
- Relationship coaching
- Relationship counselling
- Advice service
