"Language in Intercultural Relationships and Families" Discussion Evening
Do you and your partner have different mother tongues? Do you communicate in a second, or even third, language? Are you raising your child in multiple languages? Were you raised with multiple languages?
Come celebrate the richness and challenges of multilingual relationships in a discussion evening held on Monday 28.5.2012, 17.00-19.00. The event takes place in Familia Club's new office in Yrjönkatu 29 A, 4th floor, Helsinki. We'll share our thoughts and experiences in a friendly, confidential environment. Tea, coffee, and light snacks will be served.

Picnic for Finnish-Thai families
Duo Project is happy to invite all Finnish-Thai families to a summer picnic on the island of Tervasaari in Helsinki on Sunday 17 June 2012 (13.00-15.00). The picnic is an informal get-together including socialising with other families and some outdoor games. Everybody will contribute to picnic by bringing their own packed lunch and possibly something to be shared together.
