New discussion groups for women are starting regularly. Please contact us if you wish to go on a waiting list and be notified of new groups. The schedule of all new groups will also be announced on this page.
Discussion groups form an important part of Duo’s activities. The groups are based on peer support which is born from the open communication and mutual understanding of people sharing the same life situation.
Duo’s groups provide a place for people to share their thoughts and experiences in a friendly and confidential environment. The discussions concentrate on the positive, but ther is room for honest talk about difficult things as well. The participants get new insights and ideas, which they are able to use in their day-to-day lives. Participating in a group also provides a natural chance to make new friends.
There are groups in different languages but most groups are either in English or in Finnish. All the groups are free of charge.
