Multicultural crèche
Monday and Wednesday 12.30-14.00 (16.1-23.5.)
Tuesday and Thursday 12.30-15.45 (17.1.-24.5.)
The crèche is primarily for children whose parents attend a Finnish course at Familia Club. The child minder speaks both Finnish and English. The group is small and requires membership and registration in advance at the same time with the course registration.
Multicultural family club
Wednesday 10.00–12.00 (11.1.-23.5.)
The program includes play, crafts discussion and doing things together, also get to know the services of Helsinki city. Parents and children are welcome. More information: Nancy Hursti, 044 3770744. Venue: Kannelmäen nuorisotalo (Kannelmäki youth centre).
Intercultural Wednesday
Wednesday 17.30 (22.2., 14.3., 11.4. and 9.5.)
Intercultural Wednesday is for couples and families with two cultures. It’s about being together and discussing some issues over a warm cup of soup or coffee/tea. The meetings include for example watching movies, founding an influence group and planning upcoming projects. More precise programme of each meeting will be on the web page two weeks before the meeting. Registration by email familia@familiaclub.fi or duo@familiaclub.fi by the preceding Tuesday.
Multicultural living room for single parent families
Thursday 17.30-19.30 (12.1., 9.2., 8.3., 12.4., 10.5.)
Discussion between parents and director in the living room of Päksy ry. while the childminder is taking care of children. More information eija.tuominen@iki.fi. Venue: Sörnäinen.
